Overview
The all-new eighth-generation Sonata of the auto giant Hyundai offers a more refined look through a new Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, stiffer body structure, better ride quality, reduced noise, vibration, harshness, advanced safety and other convenience features. Since the Sonata badge was first introduced by Hyundai Motor in 1985, cumulative sales have almost reached seven million units, making this model the third Hyundai Motor model ever to achieve the landmark figure. Sonata is the result of three years of development and an investment of approximately 450 billion Won (KRW). The 2020 Sonata represents Hyundai’s new focus on creating emotional value using proportion, styling and technology. The latest Sonata is the first model to be based on Hyundai’s new, innovative vehicle platform, which delivers increased strength and reduced weight to enable improvements in design, safety, efficiency and driving performance.
